9 Logos with Hidden Messages

kelseyads / February 11, 2019

We all recognize famous logos like FedEx, Tostitos and Adidas. These brands are memorable not only because of their exposure but also because of the thought and intention designers put into creating them. While a logo is only a small piece of a company’s brand, the logo is an important touchpoint for how a brand tells its story.

Sometimes logos tell the brand’s story through the use of hidden, subliminal messaging through the logos’ color choices, negative space or composition. The clever meanings reveal layers of not only the brand’s story but also its principles, product, origin, etc.

Each of these 9 logos while widely recognized have subtle hidden meanings that may not be recognizable at first glance. Adidas pushes its consumers to work harder. FedEx implies speed and movement. Tostitos reinforces the products it offers.

Once you see it, you can’t unsee it!
